My Approach
What Biblical Counseling Is—and Isn't
It isn't a sermon. It isn't a quick fix. It's careful, personal care that takes both your pain and God's Word seriously.
Scripture-Grounded
The Bible isn't a proof text I hand you at the end. It's the lens we look through together, honestly, at whatever you bring.
Grace-Filled
You will not be scolded here. Shame has never healed anyone; grace has healed everyone who's ever been healed.
Practical
We work on real things: sleep, conflict, boundaries, patterns, prayer. Small faithful steps, not vague encouragement.
Confidential
What you say stays here. Confidentiality is protected, explained clearly up front, and never taken lightly.

How It Differs from Secular Counseling
Good secular counselors help people a great deal, and I have deep respect for that work. The difference here is the foundation: we begin with the conviction that you were made on purpose, loved before you earned it, and never outside the reach of grace.
That changes the questions we ask. Not only “what happened to you?” but also “where is God in this, and what does faithfulness look like now?” We use practical tools freely — they're gifts — while keeping Scripture as the final word on who you are.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet.” — Psalm 119:105
Who It's For
Individuals, couples, and families in any season — the newly grieving, the quietly anxious, the long-married and weary, the young adult full of questions, the believer who hasn't been able to pray in months. You don't need the right words or a strong faith to begin. You just need to reach out.
